Zhou Daguan Meets Chenla
“Zhou Daguan Meets Chenla” is a captivating theatrical production celebrating the enduring friendship between Cambodia and China. This show is a fictionalized adaptation of the 13th-century travels of Chinese diplomat Zhou Daguan in Khmer country, as documented in his renowned work “The Customs of Cambodia.”
Organized by the Buppha Devi School which is now under the direction of Prince Tesso, the show aims to entertain and educate through a blend of music, acting, and dance. We produced the background animation screened during the live show, enhancing the poetic storytelling by visually illustrating Zhou Daguan’s explorations of the Kingdom of Wonder.
