The logo we designed for the campaign #DestinationCambodge2024 symbolizes a journey of discovery. It represents the rich tapestry of Cambodian culture, from the ancient wonders of Angkor Wat to the vibrant nightlife of Phnom Penh and the serene landscapes of the Tonle Sap Lake.
Through this campaign, our client All Dreams Cambodia decided to address the declining tourism in Cambodia. Despite its rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty, Cambodia has faced a decline in visitor numbers and revenue in recent years due not only to the pandemic, but factors such as an increased competition from the neighboring South East Asian countries and limited marketing efforts in its preferred clientele’s country: France.
#DestinationCambodge2024 was launched to revitalize Cambodia’s tourism industry. By highlighting the country’s unique attractions, promoting sustainable tourism practices, and enhancing visitor experiences, the campaign seeks to attract more French travelers and boost the local economy.
A visually appealing logo was essential for this campaign. The logo needed to capture the essence of Cambodia, evoke a sense of wonder and adventure, and be easily recognizable. The chosen design incorporates elements of Cambodian culture and symbolism, creating a memorable and iconic representation of the country.
