GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS

We made this video for World Intellectual Property Organization to announce the launch of a major new feature on the ASEAN IP Register. The video highlights the new comprehensive portal that features our region’s Geographical Indications (GIs), uniting them in one place. This searchable GI database helps producers defend their rights, enables businesses to verify authenticity, and allows consumers and investors to identify origin-linked products across the region. It reflects the true spirit of ASEAN integration by making centuries of tradition, such as Cambodia’s Kampot Pepper and Thailand’s Doi Chaang Coffee, accessible through one unified digital gateway. Users can explore the GIs by visiting www.aseanip.org and opening the IP Register.​
