Healthy Fields, Healthy Family!
By integrating agroecological methods with initiatives like family farm support, soil restoration efforts, and nutrient-rich crop development, we highlight how ecological stewardship directly benefits community nutrition, resilience, and prosperity.
Through participatory projects—such as the Health & Territories living labs in Cambodia, Laos, Benin, and Senegal—CIRAD and its partners unite farmers, researchers, and local actors to shape farming systems attuned to both ecosystem and human needs.
By strengthening soil health, enriching crop diversity, and diversifying rural livelihoods, our approach empowers families to thrive sustainably. In embracing “Healthy fields, Healthy family!”, we pave the way for communities enriched by the land and sustained by collaboration, knowledge, and hope.
